Chinese company to buy wood felled from Labrador hydroelectric station site May 3, 2021 Timber cut to make way for a new hydroelectric station in Labrador is heading to China. The wood has been sitting idle for the past six or more years at the Muskrat Falls project site. The original plan was for JP Forestry, in an agreement with the Innu Nation, to ship the leftover wood to Europe, but a deal has been reached with a Chinese company to purchase the whole logs.
