While it’s hard to top Tottenham’s hilariously inept managerial search this summer, Everton’s appointment of Liverpool fan-favorite Rafa Benítez certainly takes the cake for amusement factor. Speaking on the Gwlad Tidings podcast, Greg O’Keeffe has provided an insight into Everton’s plan with Marcel Brands.
The Toffees’ Director of Football is out of contract in the summer, and as you can imagine, that has led to speculation about whether or not he will be staying at the club beyond this season.
We don’t know whether or not he will be staying, but O’Keeffe says that Everton plan to get this resolved sooner rather than later.
