[Wisc.] Waupaca Foundry Leaders Earn Awards
WAUPACA, Wisc. Waupaca Foundry announced that two of its own, Sara Timm and Greg Miskinis, have recently received a combined four industry awards for their advocacy of and service to the metal-casting industry.
The awards were presented virtually at American Foundry Society’s (AFS) annual Metalcasting Congress. The industry event was streamed live online starting April 12 and concluded April 22.
Sara Timm received two awards from the AFS. Timm received the 2021 Outstanding Individual Service Award. The peer-nominated award recognizes Timm’s technical support and promotion of the Marketing Division. Timm was also recognized for outstanding contribution and service to the industry and to the AFS Women in Metalcasting Division. She has served two terms on the Women in Metalcasting committee, which is part of the national organization’s management council.
