The latest iteration of 2DayFM’s Breakfast show featuring Dave Hughes, Ed Kavalee and Erin Molan went to air this morning, with the opening break covering everything from COVID-19 vaccines to speculation on gay footballers and Molan’s many other media commitments.
Since the departure of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 2Day has cycled through numerous talent lineups, including Jules Lund, Merrick Watts, Sophie Monk, Mel B, Dan Debuf, Maz Compton, Rove McManus, Sam Frost, Em Rusciano, Harley Breen, Ed Kavalee (now back with the program), Grant Denyer, Ash London and Jamie Angel.

After a few solid years of relatively stable breakfast offerings across most metro markets, 2021 is set to be a big refresh across Australian commercial radio, with new or refreshed lineups debuting in every city.
No less than eight new commercial breakfast shows will debut this year. Most are coming from Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), but there’ll also be new shows on Australian Radio Network (ARN) and Nine Radio.
