Some parts of northeast iowa saw rain again this morning and state leaders now are trying to get more money to help the areas hit hard by last months flooding. Flooding. Governor Terry Branstad has requested a federal disaster declaration for eight counties from president obama. Its not clear when the white house will announce the president s decisi. Congressional delegation has reached out to the president urging him to act quickly. State assistance is available to anyone trying to repair damage from the flood waters. A developing story overnight police in Charlotte North Carolina say at least 12 of their officers were injured during protests after another Deadly Police shooting of a black man. One of those officers was hit in the face with a rock. Protesters were shown breaking the windows of a Police Vehicle and destroying other demonstrators started throwing rocks at their van too.
