Folks who cover the USMNT drop lists like this projecting the 23 guys who end up on the next World Cup team. Brian appropriated it, dropped it for a few years, and then I stole it from him. Regarding the number of tickets: typically its’ 22 starters on offense and defense + 2 kickers + a Flex TE/Slot + nickel + extra DL. I’m adding a 2nd RB, a 2nd QB, and a couple of receivers for a total of 30. The last 27 tickets was put out in February and had a summary of each player. This update will track what we saw from each this spring. PACK YOUR BAGS You will see them on the field a lot, whether or not they’re technically getting the start. 1. WR Ronnie Bell (Jr/5th) [Last time: 1] Sat out while recovering from last year's injury. Still on target to participate in fall, and offense is still clearly geared to his strengths. Abruptly abandoned Devin Gardner interview because Darrius Clemons made a diving TD catch. 2. RB Blake Corum (So/Jr) [Last time: 2] We did not fault the lineback
I updated my spreadsheets with this year’s snaps/starts/games played data, which is a good opportunity to go over who’s on the team, and what to expect over the rest of the offseason.
Extra eligibility: The COVID year created a lot of confusion. As I understand it, that is being treated as a free season of eligibility and does not affect redshirts. Every freshman in 2020 was still effectively a true freshmen in 2021 (but is still eligible for the 2023 NFL Draft). Anyone who hadn’t yet taken a redshirt season may still do so. Anyone who played four games or fewer this year was eligible to take a redshirt if they haven’t already, medical redshirts included.
We’ll go by position after the jump, but the short version:
Played out eligibility: Andrew Vastardis
Portal: Nolan Rumler (Kent State).
Early NFL (playing in senior bowls): Hassan Haskins, Andrew Stueber
May try the draft: Daylen Baldwin
They'll be back: Ronnie Bell, Erick All
Graduates/6th yr option: Chuck Filiaga,

Michigan picked up a significant transfer out of the portal today, a late Christmas present to use next fall while the current team prepares for Georgia and the Orange Bowl. That transfer is C Victor Oluwatimi from the University of Virginia:

Oluwatimi is a big deal because he's an excellent football player. He finished as a Rimington Award finalist for the NCAA's best center (losing out to Iowa's Tyler Linderbaum) and PFF ranked him the 3rd best run blocking center in the FBS this season. He was named a Second Team All-American by a number of publications and has racked up ACC awards too. Oluwatimi is 6'3" and weighs 310 lbs., a product of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and DeMatha Catholic. As a little-known recruit in the 2017 class, he began his career at Air Force but never saw the field and then transferred to UVA. Oluwatimi sat out a year due to the transfer in 2018 and then ascended to
