A peer-review team hired by a committee of Oxford County politicians says a draft study prepared in support of a proposed mega-dump near Ingersoll is flawed.
After months of analyzing the provincially required report from Walker Environmental, the team is recommending that the joint municipal co-ordinating committee made up of representatives from Zorra Township, South-West Oxford Township, Ingersoll and Oxford County – wholly reject the draft environmental assessment. More importantly, the team is urging the province’s Environment Ministry to also reject the report unless its deficiencies are addressed.
