the noaa storm prediction center in norman. greg, where is this tornado headed? what we ve been watching the last fwo hours is a massive thunderstorm complex really that moved very little. these tornadoes are forming on the southern edge right along the i-40 corridor leading into oklahoma city area. they continue to form and move gradually east and south. question are seeing extreme rain fall and extreme winds with the occasional tarpds developing. still very tarn to see because of the rain falls occurring within the oklahoma city area. hopefully it won t be as bad as it looks right now. but we have seen and heard numerous reports of tornadoes over the last hour or two. can i ask you this. the storm system spinning these tornadoes out, how long do you predict it ll hold and continue to generate the tornadoes out

with you are actually hundreds, if not more than a thousand. there were several sporting events downtown. hockey and baseball teams both had games. and sirens going off again now. so there were a lot of people that had plans to start the week mend downtown area. hopefully a lot of them saw against coming down as they saw happening with the forecast. we just talked to greg earlier. his word that has that they ve been monitoring this storm system for about two hours. it s been relatively fixed, spinning its occasional tornadoes off in a direction toward where you are. his thoughts were it wasn t going to leave for more than a half hour. right now, he don t have any live reports of where a specific
