Garbage truck snags power lines in Greenville

No one was injured Monday after a garbage truck accidentally snagged power, cable and telephone lines, snapping two poles in the process. At approximately 9:38 a.m. the Greenville Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the report of a work truck having pulled down power lines on W. Bluff Street, which were also reported to be smoking and sparking.
