Greenville Chick-fil-A operator offers full benefits package to employees

Greenville Chick-fil-A operator offers full benefits package to employees View Comments A Greenville Chick-fil-A franchisee has reframed his business to offer a higher hourly wage, 401(k) and health benefits to his full-time employees. In 2019, Steven Bryant began to assess the benefits structure for the two Chick-fil-A restaurants he operates in Greenville and Travelers Rest. Driven by the idea of offering a living wage commensurate to the area, and an assessment of the ACA mandated healthcare benefits, Bryant began to plan for a change. In January 2020, he changed the structure of his business to raise wages and expand benefits for full-time employees. Bryant offers $13 starting pay, paid time off for those who work 35 hours or more a week, a 401(k) to which the company contributes and health insurance to those working 30 hours or more a week.
