By LONGi Email
LONGi has announced that it has partnered with Green Volts Energy, a developer of low-carbon infrastructure in Pakistan, on the delivery of a 1MWp solar system for the leading textile manufacturer Rantex Pvt in the city of Shahkot.
The EPC element of the project falls under Green Volts, one of the most active players in the private solar sector, and the first company to successfully deliver large scale distributed solar projects in Pakistan.
LONGi Solar’s 535Wp Hi-MO 5 series modules were chosen for the project, given their high efficiency and compatibility in rooftop system installations. The project is forecast to generate an annual 1.5 million kWh of electricity, saving around PKR23,840,000 for the Rantex Group and reducing CO2 emissions by 1,200 tons.
