Bushnell, Fl.(Florida News Network)-A 19-year-old from Lakeland is charged with murder in the death of Charlie Roberts. Roberts, also from Lakeland, was reported missing on Wednesday..his body found in the Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area in Sumter County. Deputies have charged David Anthony Garcia with 1st-degree murder. He was picked up in Pinellas County and agreed to surrender himself to officials in Bushnell. He s been booked into the Sumter County Detention Center.

LAKELAND, Fla. â A 19-year-old from Lakeland is facing first-degree murder charges after his arrest on Thursday, according to the Sumter County Sheriff s Office.
David Gracia, 19, is charged with killing Charlie Roberts, 18, whose body was found on Wednesday after his family reported him missing to Lakeland Police.
Roberts was found in the Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area in Sumter County. The sheriff s office says he was last seen with Gracia on Tuesday in Lakeland.
Roberts phone history led authorities to the Green Swamp.

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office deputies made an arrest in a homicide investigation after a young man’s body was found in a swamp.
David Anthony Garcia, of Lakeland, surrendered to deputies Thursday, the day after the body of Charlie Roberts Jr., 18, was found in Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area, according to a news release.

Investigators said the 19-year-old suspect was last seen with the victim on Tuesday in Lakeland. When the victim’s family reported him missing, cell phone records led deputies to the Green Swamp WMA, records show.
