HENDERSON — The Vance County Board of Commissioners voted to award consulting firm AP Triton with the contract to perform an analysis of the county’s fire services during Monday’s meeting.
HENDERSON â Green Rural Redevelopment Organization Inc. is partnering with Shiloh Baptist Church and Oxford Public Works to offer free COVID-19 testing and the distribution of food and personal protective equipment in Henderson, Oxford and Warrenton.
The first of two COVID-19 community testing and resource-distribution events will take place in Oxford on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the city of Oxford Public Works building parking lot, at 127 Penn Ave.
The second is on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church parking lot, at 635 S. College St. in Henderson.
The third is on Friday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Warren County High School parking lot, at 149 Campus Drive in Warrenton.
