Day of Observance for COVID-19 Victims: Remarks by PM and Party Leaders
In the House of Commons, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and federal party leaders Erin O’Toole (Conservative), Yves-François Blanchet (Bloc Québécois), Jagmeet Singh (NDP), and Elizabeth May (Green Parliamentary leader) make remarks on the National Day of Observance for victims of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). March 11 is the first anniversary of the World Health Organization’s declaration of a pandemic. To date, more than twenty-two thousand Canadians have died of COVID-19. (March 11, 2021)
