Diamonds Do Good Debuts Project Bracelet…
Diamonds Do Good (formerly Diamond Empowerment Fund) has announced a new initiative: Project Bracelet, which invites designers from around the world to create a new signature bracelet that defines the organization.
The Green Malachite bracelet (pictured here as worn by original brand ambassador Kimora Lee Simmons) has symbolized the mission of the global nonprofit since 2007.
Submissions are now open for those hoping to create the next iconic bracelet for the organization. Designers should keep with the theme of Growth, Unity, and Equality when crafting their designs. All entries are due by June 28.
“Diamonds Do Good was inspired by the honorable Nelson Mandela, whose legacy shines as a beacon of hope and healing,” said cofounder Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis in a statement. “We want this next generation bracelet to be a symbol of all our hopes and dreams.”
