After more than two decades of planning in the works, a new pool and gym are opening in the Slate Belt.
The Slate Belt Branch of the Greater Valley YMCA is scheduled to open its recently constructed swimming pool and gymnasium in June. The recent expansion also includes space for a preschool program.
“Certainly, with these additions of the preschool, gym and pool, it makes it a great community center,” Greater Valley YMCA President/CEO David Fagerstrom said.
