Deming High soccer shifted to a smaller school level of competition and fared well during the Hatch Valley Red or Green Invitational Tournament played out Friday and Saturday. Teams competing, along with Deming, included host Hatch Valley, Silver High of Silver City, Gadsden High of Anthony, N.M. and Santa Teresa High.
