There was soul searching and tears on the Deming High sidelines following a 2-0 loss to the visiting Chaparral Lobos on Tuesday at the DHS Soccer Field. The Wildcats gave up an early goal 15 minutes into the first half and battled over the next 75 minutes trying to even the score. The match was the District 3-4A season opener for both schools.
