By: News On 6 Strong and some severe thunderstorms are bringing heavy rain and the potential for hail into Green Country Thursday evening. The systems are moving from western Oklahoma east to the Tulsa area and could carry the chance for hail and strong winds. Severe Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Okfuskee, Ottawa County until 5:30 p.m. Eastern Oklahoma is under a Tornado Watch until 7 p.m. The Tulsa area is out of the severe thunderstorm warning as of 4:55 p.m. Thursday but flash flooding reports across eastern Oklahoma are in effect for Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa and Washington County.
