Car washes driving mini building boom as they clean up in Richmond region

Those in the business of keeping things clean have seen business boom during the pandemic.
That trend seems to include the local car wash industry, with three more new car washes on their way to the Richmond region.
Hampton Roads-based Green Clean Auto Wash is working on opening its first two local spots at 4810 Nine Mile Road and 8201 Brook Road in Henrico, while Tommy’s Express Car Wash is planning its fourth local spot at 12574 Broad Street Road, just west of Short Pump.
