The Greek Orthodox Parishes and the Greek Welfare Centre Victoria are combining their forces to collect food donations to deliver in hampers for Greek-Australian households in financial need this Easter.

Greek Australian households in financial need will receive an Easter Hamper in a joint effort between the Greek Orthodox Parishes and the Greek Welfare Centre Victoria. For over two decades the Greek Welfare Centre Victoria of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia has taken the leading role in organising and co-ordinating an Easter and Christmas Food Hampers Appeal with the solid support of the Parish Network of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and the Greek-Australian Community of Victoria.
The Greek Welfare Centre once again calls upon the Greek-Australian community to demonstrate their ‘
filotimo’ (φιλότιμο) and contribute as much as they are able. Any non-perishable food items, are welcome.
