Greek Diet and
gastronomy tourism have an active role to play in the development and branding of the Greek tourism product, said Rural Development and Food Minister

“Greece has the privilege to produce excellent products. These products, which must be identified; must be branded as the Greek Diet,” he said.
In this direction the minister said the government would be funding relevant infrastructure, increasing exports, training farmers, and taking actions to establish the Greek Diet brand.
He referred to a common EU agricultural policy under which Greece will receive 19.7 billion euros and stressed the need for “rational” investment in infrastructure.
