Russian & Belarusian Migrants to Be Subject to COVID Testing At 4 Latvian Border Crossing Points

In line with the amendments adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the regulations on safety measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19, all migrants entering the country from Russia and Belarus will soon have to undergo Coronavirus testing while at the border crossing points, the Latvian authorities have announced.
Nonetheless, it was highlighted that the requirement would not apply to persons who have a valid vaccination, recovery, or COVID-19 test result certificate. Children under the age of 12 are also exempt from this requirement.
