Being named the second greatest athlete of all time is something Ballycullane man James Kehoe takes in his stride.
The 64-year-old Boley man came second to Malaysian squash player Nicol David in the competition, having received an astonishing 113,120 votes.
The World Games event saw James come up against athletes from around the world from a variety of disciplines.
Beginning in August 2006, David was the world number one for a record-breaking 108 consecutive months
Member federations nominated 25 candidates for the online vote, and the list was published immediately after New Year.
James was the candidate from TWIF/ Tug of War International Federation for the election of Greatest Athlete of all time.

Held between Jan 8-Feb 1 via The World Games website, the poll featured 24 of the finest athletes ever to appear at The World Games, a multi-sport event held every four years.
Nicol finished top with 318,943 votes from fans, over double that of her nearest competitor, Irish tug of war legend James Kehoe. With 1,204,637 votes cast in total, 26 per cent of the votes went to the Malaysian superstar.
