Collier County emergency services ready for anything
Emergency directors in Collier County were confident they were ready Monday for any impacts that could be caused by Tropical Storm Elsa through the next 24 hours.
Collier County’s director of emergency management told us the forecast was very much in the county’s favor.
Still, out of an abundance of caution Monday, Collier County made the decision to close schools Tuesday, the same as schools in Lee County.
But emergency directors also said they were not taking Elsa lightly, and were ready.
