In honor of Women’s History Month, the Latrobe Art Center is featuring an exhibit honoring five women who contributed to the city’s growth. Titled “Remembering Her: A Reflection on Latrobe’s Women in the Arts,” the exhibit encourages attendees to reflect on women who were gifted artists and who also played a role in Latrobe’s growth and development through leadership roles or other activities. The exhibit features five women: Mary Martha Himler, a renowned artist and teacher; Sara McComb, a librarian; Virginia Daniels, director of Latrobe’s Summer Day Camp; and Elizabeth Hazlett and Nancy Rogers Crozier, both co-founders and the Latrobe Art Center.
