Sen. Luján Meets With New Mexico Chamber Executives Association, Discusses COVID Relief For Local Economies

Washington, D.C. Thursday, U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) met with the New Mexico Chamber Executives Association to discuss COVID-19 relief for local economies, support for workers and small businesses, and much-needed investments to bridge the digital divide.
More than 25 Chambers of Commerce were represented in the virtual meeting.
“It was a pleasure meeting with Chambers of Commerce from across New Mexico – including those representing our smallest communities,” Luján said. “There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has devastated local economies, and it’s crucial that the American Rescue Plan is passed without delay to keep workers and small businesses afloat and ensure that local, state, and Tribal governments receive direct support.
