Police seek witnesses to three car colliison in Noble Park
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers have arrested a man following a three-car collision in Noble Park this morning.
The collision occurred on Heatherton Road just before 7am.
Investigators have been told that a VW Passat was making a right turn onto Briggs Street when struck from behind by a red Toyota Camry.
The impact of the collision shunted the Passat into the path of an oncoming Honda sedan which had been travelling west on Heatherton Road.
The male driver of the red Toyota stopped not far from the collision and ran from the scene.

Cyclist injured in Noble Park North
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers are investigating after a car and bicycle collided in Noble Park North yesterday (17 July).
Emergency services responded after reports a cyclist was stuck under a car at the intersection of Browns Road and Justin Drive about 2.30pm.
The cyclist, a 72-year-old Mulgrave man, sustained serious injuries and was transport to hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Noble Park North man, was uninjured and is helping police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances of the collision are not yet known.

A driver told police that he was running late for work after being detected at 117km/h in a 50km/h zone in Dandenong South.
He was intercepted by Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers on Portlink Drive on 11 March.
The officers were conducting speed checks at the time after complaints of speeding vehicles in the area, police say.
The driver is expected to receive a summons for speed offences.
His car was impounded for 30 days at a cost to him of $1038.
