Northeast Ohio car sales jump nearly 8% despite supply shortages amid pandemic

CLEVELAND, Ohio Despite industry-wide supply chain shortages, car sales in Northeast Ohio and nationwide are soaring.
In Northeast Ohio, sales of new vehicles in March were 25.1% higher than March last year, according to the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association. And for the first quarter, dealerships here are up 7.65% compared to last year. That’s about the national average increase.
