Sara and Peter Spillett took to Great Whernside, above Kettlewell, to enjoy some cross-country skiing. And, Saul Ward, owner of Kettlewell Hostel, and his friend, Paul, also took to Great Whernside to do some winter hiking. Saul tweeted: This afternoon we hiked up #greatwhernside (Kettlewell’s very own mountain) to see the snow! It is so good to #getoutside. Saul, who runs the hostel with his wife, Floss, is busily preparing to re-open the hostel next year, bookings can be made via the YHA website from February.
