if i don t show up they will think something happened to me it was ambitious. you get a sense that the characters were influenced by sydney potiere s character. the black teacher. but, that, again, an important show because you had black performers in nonstereo non-stereotypical. two people died. it gave us great shows and characters and performances by denzel washington in saint elsewhere, blair underwood. and the 80s was a great decade. it was a decade of access. i like being head and shoulder above everyone else. mr. t. was a great character
