With the 2022 retirement announcement this week by Donna Masterson, Wayne County Deputy Treasurer and Distribution Clerk Crystal Ellis has announced her intent to run for county treasurer. She has served in her current role for nearly five years and says she loves serving the county. Ellis will run as a Republican, as will Yvette Anderson, who announced her run for the position Monday. The Shiloh Community Church will hold a free Thanksgiving meal on November 25th at the Old Mom's Diner in Geff, located at 101 Washington Street. Meal service will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the church says it will offer free delivery for those not wanting to gather.
