The following are excerpts from the Kingston police log for Sunday, Dec. 13. through Saturday, Dec. 19. The log is public record and available for review. All persons are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
Sunday, Dec. 13
1:31 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported on Summer Street.
Monday, Dec. 14
3:20 p.m.: Identity theft was reported on Elm Street.
3:56 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported on Indian Pond Road.
10:13 p.m.: Fraud was reported on Crimson Harvest Drive. Parties were spoken to.
Tuesday, Dec. 15
3:51 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported on Main Street.
Residents and families can now get quick tests at a number of sites. It comes as the number of cases hits 1049 which rose from 445 in the seven day period. Test centres are open in Grays Beach car park, Stanley Lazell Hall, Dell Road, Grays and Crown Road car park in Grays. Case are also rising across the county, Basildon was initially one of the worse areas but now rises are also being seen in Southend and Castle Point too. The borough is flip-flopping between the second and third worst-hit spots and council bosses are now predicting a rise to “top” spot, potentially before the end of the week.
