Several cars were destroyed along with the workshop after the blaze ripped through the building. Crews from Epping and Hainult were called to Gravel Lane, Chigwell on Thursday night and they discovered the workshop was completely alight. It took more than two hours to put out the huge fire at the site. Monitoring Officer Dave Bond said: With cars and cylinders inside the workshop, and other buildings close by, firefighters worked hard to bring the fire under control and stop it spreading. By 6.30pm crews had extinguished the fire and will continue to dampen down hotspots within the building. The workshop has been completely destroyed, along with several cars that were kept inside.
