Barley 48 hours after the Daily Graphic published an appeal from 18-year-old Edward Elorm Gbanaglo for support to enable him to realise his ambition to become a medical doctor at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho a number of individuals and institutions have shown interest.
The Daily Graphic on Monday, February 22, 2021, carried a story headlined, “Orphan seeks financial support to complete medical school,” which said that Elorm, an orphan, was struggling to raise the needed funds to put him through medical school after his excellent results from the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) last December.
A former student of the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, he defied all odds and secured six ‘A’ ones and two ‘B’ twos, gained admission to the university, but is on the verge of losing out because of financial challenges
