The body of a woman was found in the River Cam near Grantchester earlier this morning, June 9.
The woman was discovered in the water near the Grantchester Orchard Team Garden at around 8.45 am.
Emergency services attended the scene and she was declared dead a short while afterwards.
There are currently no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, and the case will be passed to the coroner, Cambridgeshire Police said.
