Long-time Grant Township fire chief passes away

GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. â Long-time fire chief Roland Brooks of the Grant Township Fire Department has died.
Brooks was hospitalized at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon three weeks ago after falling ill, according to the fire department. They say he died on Sunday.
Brooks was a member of the fire department for more than 50 years where he served as fire chief for 40 of those years.
Weâre told services are being planned to take place in spring 2021.
