i don t think their obstruction is a surprise. it is very similar to what we felt in 2009. grant it, we had a larger number of democrats. i think the challenge for this white house has been, you know, a 50-50 senate. got to keep all the democrats together, unlike in 2009, 2010 where we could lose some democrats but keep more than 50 ors to together to get something done. there s no doubt that that s going to continue to bedevil us. i think the challenge for joe biden is and i thought it was good as well in news conferences, calling out republicans for not being onboard, right? calling out republicans for not having a plan, for not proposing something. that s not just a rhetorical strategy, but i think that lends itself into their political strategy for 2022 because what they don t want to have happen is make the entire 2022 election
elections. i think the consternation among democratic activists shouldn t be a surprise to senator sinema at all. i do think while the censure may not do much in the short-term, i do think as she looks towards re-election in 2024 that her votes are going to create a series of political problems for her, particularly in the democratic party. she ran as vaughn said in 2018 and wins that seat, there are now two democratic senators from arizona, grant it that mark kelly has got a tough re-election, but my hunch is that she ll go through a very robust primary in 2024 should she seek to run for re-election of the arizona to the u.s. senate from arizona. okay, but does that, you know, diluting the waters if you will of the democrats in very much a purple state, does it then risk sacrificing a democrat s seat in the senate given this nature of arizona the
another three years, three and a half years. donald trump was somebody different. it was not a career politician, and i have stressed that point. so he build an empire, grant it, he got it from his parents, he come from a wealthy family. my parents were cuban americans, my parents lived in orphanages. my father left at 16 years of age and never saw his parents again. my mother had nothing, broke their backs. when you look at donald trump, and you say, hey, well, he broke his back. it s a very different story when you look at it from his perspective. he had millions of dollars at his disposal and was handed to him. i don t know how qualified he was for many of the roles he had, let alone president of the united states. and then we go back to the fraudulent election, and i feel that that has opened up probably the biggest can of worms we ve had politically, at least in my
i know this is hard to hear. i know it s frustrating. i know it s exhausting to think we re still in this fight, and i know we hoped this would be a simple straightforward line without problems or new challenges, but that isn t real life. we re coming out of the worst public health crisis in 100 years. the worst economic crisis since the great depression. as i told you before, i carry a card in my pocket. i hope i have it with me. i carry a card in my pocket with the number of americans dead from covid-19. as of today, this morning, the total deaths in the united states were 609,441. grant it, the death rate per day is way down, it s down to 400 about. that s more deaths than world
families and we are hosting again next week assuming the shutdown is still going on. we set up venmo and go fund me. we have been trying to raise money for these families to replace the income they are missing. grant it we know it is only seven families but we feel like it is something, it is something that we can do to help chip in even with small efforts. we can help more and more people out for however long it will last. you will be rewarded for this. we ll remember the name of your business and all of our viewers. everybody needs to go to denver. you and people across america are making a difference for those workers who have not done anything to bring this on themselves. thank you. go to the place, that s
