MOSES LAKE Superheroes, goblins, princesses and ghosts out and about on Halloween night will have opportunities for candy, fun and scary places to go throughout the Columbia Basin.
MOSES LAKE – Moses Lake City Council approved up to $1 million in funding for a new facility for Grant County Animal Outreach. Council Member David Skaug was the only dissenting vote in the 6-1 approval.
MOSES LAKE – Gesa Credit Union stepped out to help two local organizations on their annual day of service on Oct. 9. The regional banking organization closed its 28 branches and stepped out to help 31 community organizations statewide.

Nearly every community in the area has its own Easter egg hunt either Friday or Saturday, as is traditional the weekend before Easter. The first one will be at Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata, at 10:30 a.m. Friday. This hunt is for kids 6 and under.
