Registration is now open for the five-day professional development program âGrant Writing Essentials,â which will be held from 9 a.m.ânoon May 21 and 28, and June 4, 11 and 18 through the University of Maine Hutchinson Center.
This synchronous Zoom program will teach the basics of grant seeking for new and experienced grant writers â from inception to completion. Participants will learn how to prepare an organization to apply for grants, where to find funders and funding opportunities, and how to develop the components of a grant and submit a complete and compelling application.
Instructor Elizabeth Haffey is a Maine-based professional grant writer. She received her bachelorâs degree in international affairs from George Washington University and is currently studying for a masterâs degree in public policy from the University of Southern Maine. Through her business,
