ARGUS readers have been giving their opinions about the prospect of not being allowed to travel to the capital as it enters the highest tier of coronavirus restrictions. It has been announced that London and parts of Essex and Hertfordshire will face Tier 3 restrictions from Wednesday, following “very sharp, exponential rises” in cases. The move places a ban on all social interactions both indoors and outdoors with anybody outside a household or support bubble. As well as the restrictions on hospitality, the rules mean people should avoid travelling into or out of the area. That means people from Brighton and Hove and the rest of Sussex should not travel to London “other than where necessary”.
