Plainfield NJ shooting: Dunellen man killed, Piscataway man injured

View Comments PLAINFIELD - A Dunellen man has died and a Piscataway man was seriously injured in a Sunday afternoon shooting in the area of West Eighth Street and Grant Avenue. Michael Price Jr., 29, was pronounced dead shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday after being transported to Hackensack Meridian Health JFK University Medical Center in Edison, according to acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo and Plainfield Police Director Lisa Burgess. A preliminary investigation indicates members of the Plainfield Police Department responding to the area of West Eighth Street and Grant Avenue Sunday afternoon where they found Price and a second man, a 30-year-old resident of Piscataway, who had both been struck by gunfire.
