CORVALLIS, Mont. - The Ravalli County Sheriff s Office and Coroner has identified the barricaded suspect who was found dead in his home in Corvallis last week.
According to a release from RCSO, the suspect was identified as Matthew Robert Long, 35.
RCSO said his preliminary cause of death appears to be a suicide by gunshot.
The Granite County Sheriff s Office and Hamilton Police Department are investigating the death the Ravalli County Attorney will receive the results of the investigation for the coroner s examination on a future date.

PHILIPSBURG â Two people walked away uninjured after a small plane made an emergency landing in a pasture near Hall.
The Granite County Sheriffâs Office was notified by air traffic control in Salt Lake City shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday that a small aircraft had reported having engine trouble and was crash landing short of the runway in Philipsburg.
Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson says emergency responders were sent to the area and later determined a short time later the aircraft â with two people on board had landed safely in a rancher s pasture northeast of Hall.
