One death is linked to the Grandview Personal Care home in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.
New cases are as follows:
• 10 cases in the Interlake–Eastern health region;
• 18 cases in the Northern health region;
• 12 cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region;
• 24 cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region; and
• 43 cases in the Winnipeg health region.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 12.6 per cent in the province, and 12.4 per cent in Winnipeg.
Lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba total 24,252, with 654 deaths or 2.7 per cent.
The province also reported 250 people are in hospital with active COVID-19, as well as 93 people in hospital with COVID-19 who are no longer infectious but continue to require care, for a total of 343 hospitalizations.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 12.6 per cent provincially and 12.4 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on December 28, 2020, 107 new cases of the virus have been identified, which brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 24,252.
Public health officials advise nine additional deaths in people with COVID-19 have been reported today including:
a male in his 60s from the Winnipeg health region;
a female in her 70s from the Winnipeg health region, linked to an outbreak at Holy Family Home;
a female in her 70s from the Winnipeg health region, linked to an outbreak at Convalescent Home of Winnipeg;
WINNIPEG Manitoba health officials are reporting nine new COVID-19 deaths and 107 cases of the disease in the province. Announced in the province s daily COVID-19 bulletin on Monday, seven of the deaths are in the Winnipeg region. In Winnipeg senior-care facilities, two deaths are linked to an outbreak at Holy Family Home, two deaths are linked to an outbreak at Poseidon Care Centre, one death is linked to an outbreak at Convalescent Home and one death is linked to an outbreak at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. A man in his 60s from Winnipeg not linked to any outbreak also died.

The province announced 22 more COVID-19-related deaths and 467 new cases of the virus over the weekend.
Of the dead, one was a woman in her 80s from Prairie Mountain Health who was linked to an outbreak at Grandview Personal Care Home.
Sixteen people were from Winnipeg, two were from both Northern and Southern Health-Santé Sud, and one was from Interlake-Eastern.
Of the weekend’s new cases, 33 were in Prairie Mountain Health.
Winnipeg reported 234 new cases, followed by 82 in Northern, 69 in Southern Health-Santé Sud and 49 in Interlake-Eastern.
There are currently 5,749 active cases, 16,541 people who have recovered from COVID-19 and 569 who have died.
