Premium Content Subscriber only The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a man to hospital, after he was critically injured in a crash, at Grandchester, west of Ipswich, this morning. A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a multi-vehicle crash in Grandchester on Wednesday morning. Courtesy RACQ LifeFlight Rescue. A spokeswoman from LifeFlight said the rescue chopper had just completed a patient transfer, to Brisbane, when the aeromedical crew was urgently retasked to the crash, at 5:20am. Paramedics were called to the scene just after 5am on Tuesday morning after three vehicles, including a motorbike, collided on Rosewood Laidley Rd, Grandchester.

Date Time Police responding to serious traffic crash at Lanefield A Leichhardt man is in a critical condition following a two-vehicle traffic crash on Rosewood Laidley Road this morning. Early investigations indicate a motorcycle travelling west collided head-on with a utility travelling east around 5am between Grandchester and Rosewood. The 25-year-old rider was seriously injured in the crash and taken to the Princess Alexander Hospital. The 48-year-old driver of the ute received minor injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. NAMED: Lockyer locals busted for cannabis in 2020

Premium Content Subscriber only THERE was no shortage of Lockyer Valley residents getting busted for cannabis possession, production and/or supplying in 2020. The Gatton Star has compiled a list of some of those who were convicted in the Gatton Magistrates Court for weed this year. Melissa Lynette Dixon pleaded guilty on November 16 to four offences including charges of unlawfully possessing cannabis, unlawfully possessing a water pipe used for smoking cannabis and committing a public nuisance offence. Police prosecutor senior sergeant Al Windsor said that as police walked towards Dixon’s door on September 9, they smelled burning cannabis from within the house.
