Grand Rapids Community College freezes tuition for 2021-22 Sentinel Staff GRAND RAPIDS Tuition at Grand Rapids Community College will not increase next school year. The college’s board of trustees voted unanimously Monday to freeze tuition for the 2021-22 academic year. Bill Pink, GRCC president, said the freeze reflects a focus on keeping college education within reach while many are experiencing financial challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Our world has changed in ways we could not have imagined a year ago,” he said. “New skills are going to be needed as our employers respond and get up to speed. A GRCC degree or certificate helps our residents get the education they need to re-engage. We have always been the most affordable option for students. Our goal is to help as many people as possible.”
