‘Motors and Mimosas Car Show’ a Perfect Event Coming to Palisade
I’m not sure a more perfect event has ever been planned. Whoever thought up the idea of the Welcome to Summer – ‘Motors and Mimosas Car Show’ that is planned to take place in Palisade is a genius. So, make sure you put the event on your calendar now as the date is set for Saturday, June 12
th. The event will take place at Red Fox Cellars at 695 36 Road in Palisade running from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
We all know that many ladies love to start their Saturday morning with a nice mimosa and anytime you have a chance to put guys around motor vehicles that is a recipe for success. That’s why I think this idea is going to be such a hit. While beautiful vehicles and delicious beverages are enough to jump-start a tremendous weekend there will be more going on than just that.
Grand Junction Welcomes Foreigner To the Amphitheater Stage
Fourteen years ago, they were part of one of western Colorado s most iconic nights of rock and roll and they are finally coming back to do it again.
It was September of 2007 when Foreigner was on the Rock Jam stage along with Styx and Def Leppard. Maybe you were there. It was a night of incredible music and entertainment I will never forget. All three bands were absolutely electric on stage.

Besides the fact, the band sounds fantastic, an evening with Foreigner is so great because they can play hit after hit - after hit - and you know them all. Foreigner scored no less than 16 top 30 hits in the 70s and 80s, many of which have become rock and roll radio staples.
Saturday Night COVID Vaccinations Available in Grand Junction
It s pretty clear now that if you want the COVID-19 vaccine and you re over the age of 16 and a resident of Colorado you can make it happen. And according to KREX, Mesa County Public Health is now making it easier than ever as their hours of operation at the Community Vaccination Site at the Grand Junction Convention Center are expanding for this Saturday for a special event. They will now be offering Saturday night appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine here in Mesa County.
The vaccination site at the Grand Junction Convention Center is normally open Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4 pm, but now they are adding an additional 500 appointments on Saturday as they stay open until 7 pm. Which will obviously make it much easier for those who a busy weekend planned but still want to get signed up to receive the vaccine.
