Taipei, Sept. 30 (CNA) The New Taipei District Court on Friday sentenced Lin Ping-shu (林秉樞) to two years and 10 months in prison, after he was found guilty of committing bodily harm and other offenses against his former girlfriend, incumbent Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Legislator Kao Chia-yu (高嘉瑜).
Taipei, Jan. 26 (CNA) New Taipei prosecutors have recommended that Raphael Lin (林秉樞), a former boyfriend of lawmaker Kao Chia-yu (高嘉瑜), be punished harshly after indicting him on eight different charges, including for hurting and intimidating Kao.
The New Taipei City District Prosecutors’ Office yesterday indicted Raphael Lin (林秉樞), a former boyfriend of Democratic Progressive Party Legislator Kao Chia-yu (高嘉瑜), on several charges and asked the court to impose a severe punishment.
Lin is accused of illegally recording intimate activities, exposing private recordings of others, threatening people, slander, attempting to harm an individual, attempting to restrain a person against their will, attempting to alter records and forgery.
