A missing woman near Bridesville has been found safe said Grand Forks Search and Rescue on its Facebook page.
GFSAR said Monday just after midnight, a call came to assist the RCMP in searching for a missing woman in the Fish Lake area near Bridesville.
GFSAR said after a long night of searching, tracks belonging to the subject were found.
However, it took until the morning before the woman was located.
“In the morning several members including trackers from both Castlegar SAR and Penticton SAR came to assist in the search,” GFSAR said.
