Major Eric Keith Jackson Wednesday, June 9, 2021 A memorial service honoring the life of Major Eric Keith Jackson will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at King’s Funeral Home, B.E. King Chapel, 1511 W. California Ave. Ruston. Major Jackson was a 1978 graduate of Grambling High School and was the pride of his family and local community when he was accepted into the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., in 1979. He graduated from the academy in 1983, earning the B.S. Degree in Applied Science and Engineering. He received the M.B.A. Degree in International Business from the National University, in San Diego, and the M.P.A. Degree in Community Development Venture Capital from Harvard University. He was a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as Leader/Logistician/Project Manager; Director of Various International Officers’ Courses for the Naval Amphibious School; Master Instructor in the Economics

Cecil Anthony Gray, Sr. Friday, February 26, 2021 Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Anthony Gray, Sr. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Grambling, with Pastor James Lewis Boatner officiating. Interment will follow at Grambling Memorial Garden. Visitation will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021at Kings Funeral Home in Ruston. Gray was born July 28, 1951, in Grambling and passed away on February 15, 2021, after a prolonged illness. He enjoyed a prolific 30-year career as an all-sports coach and classroom teacher that began at I. A. Lewis Elementary School in Ruston and ended at Grambling High School, from which he retired in 2014.
